We have many years of experience in lead paint removal throughout Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast, and previously carried this out using "popular" branded chemical paint removers currently on the market.  This method of paint removal however, comes with many cons that some contractors or companies out there won't tell you about.  Despite patch testing being carried out to determine the appropriate product to use, this process DOES NOT give a true indication of how adequately paint will be able to be removed from the entire surface to be stripped.  Chemical paint removers can be very expensive, and if not applied correctly, can be totally ineffective.  Another point to consider in this process, is also proper neutralisation of the substrate post paint removal.  Even with carrying out this process to the recommended standards, contamination from the chemical absorbed into weather boards etc, can cause a newly painted surface to bubble and peel.

Queensland Coatings Removal uses Dustless Blasting, instead of chemicals for safe lead paint removal.  We achieve better results, and are much more time effective than chemical stripping.
